The People For Dom 2025

Join Dominick Romeo's movement for a fairer, more affordable, and more accountable New York. Stand with Dom in 2025 to protect working families and bring real change to District 3.

Dom's Issues are Our Issues

Chelsea is under attack by developers, lobbyists, and career politicians who refuse to listen to the community. It's time we had a Council Member from here who understands our needs and actually represents us. We believe in practical solutions for housing, crime, affordability, transportation, and accountability and so does Dom.
That's why we trust him.

Affordable Housing at 20% of Income

Chelsea residents need actually affordable housing—housing that costs no more than 20% of residents' income. This means expanding truly affordable units, protecting rent-stabilized apartments, and ensuring that people can afford to stay in their neighborhoods.

Expand ACA & Medicaid Access

Healthcare should be dependable and affordable for everyone. Expanding Medicaid eligibility, protecting ACA subsidies, and ensuring local clinics have proper resources will help keep us and our loved ones healthy.

Grocery Rent Vouchers for Families

Rising costs are crushing families. Grocery rent vouchers provide direct relief to working households while supporting local businesses and keeping money in our community.

Protect Our Neighborhoods

Safe streets require sensible rules for bikes, scooters, and outdoor dining. Better enforcement, clearer regulations, and policies that protect pedestrians while supporting local businesses.

What Chelsea Residents Need

Chelsea residents need practical policies that preserve neighborhoods, expand healthcare access, reduce the cost of living, and make streets safer. These priorities include real affordable housing, better sanitation policies, balanced outdoor dining rules, and sensible regulation of bikes and scooters so pedestrians are protected.

Meet Dom Romeo

Dom Romeo

Third generation Hell's Kitchenite now living in Chelsea New York, and a lifelong Democrat. A Building Superintendent that has always fought for his neighborhood.

Attending block association meetings at the age of 12 and more recently has been involved in a fight with City Hall's trash take-out time, which sends building superintendents back to work past 8 PM missing out on quality time with their family and friends.

Dubbed the "Activist Superintendent" by the New York Post for creating a group of Building Superintendent's and porters called NYCBuildingSupers.com. Collectively pushing back city regulations that have disrupted many of their lives. "Whoever said you can't fight City Hall was dead wrong," Dom says.

In addition to his current activist work fighting City Council, Dom's activism spans decades. "There is something about fighting for what is right that energizes me. I would not be able to get up early each morning if there wasn't something to fight for or against."
